I have a 305 engine that has only about 5 pavement shows on it, one was even a non wing pavement show. It never turned over 6700rpms. The motor was brand new when I built it, the block cracked for an unknown reason and I just put the car up and caught a ride for the rest of the season. I have a new block for the motor, nothing is damaged at ALL. The motor is apart right now at the builder (my sponsor), because we wanted to check it out. Like I said I have a new block for it, the motor is as follows: Forged lightweight crank, Huggins cam, custom Diamond pistons, Brodix spec heads (milled for 11:1 compression), Hilborn injection with brand new Kinsler L385 nozzles, have headers I can give you (2 sets), 1:6 rockers....any other questions just ask. It was a really powerful motor, it was running fine when it was shut down it just put water in the oil so I had them take it apart because it was brand new and didn't want to damage it. It made 500+hp on the dyno...I think 503 to be exact. I have a Hilborn fuel pump you can have for it as well. I'll take $4500 for the motor, no low ball offers....it's pretty much all brand new stuff. It would be about 12k to build what I have new. It will cost you probably $500 to get the new block done. Or if you'd like I can have it all done for you at a cheaper price probably as my motor builder sponsors me, he will probably make a deal for me.
